Dr. Emmanuel Esara, MD, MSc
Co-founder, Synteria Partners
He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Public Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp — one of the world’s leading institutions for tropical medicine and public health research.
His career has spanned clinical practice, large-scale antiretroviral therapy and PMTCT program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and health systems advisory work across multiple states in Nigeria.
Dr Joseph Shaibu, MHM, MPH, FIMC
Public Health Physician
Experienced in leading donor-funded programmes, with expertise in integrated service delivery, quality improvement, operational research, stakeholder coordination and data-driven decision-making.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jos, a Master of Health Management (MHM) from Benue State University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Port Harcourt.
Makplang Milaham, MBBS, MPH, MHM
Global Health Access Professional
His work has focused on supporting governments, donors, and technical partners to strengthen access to high-impact health interventions through strategic planning, policy development, and evidence-based decision-making.
Makplang holds a Master of Public Health from the KIT Royal Tropical Institute in the Netherlands, a Master’s degree in Health Management, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
